Garden of Good Wishes

For many years, the Light Heart Foundation has been growing by creating intergenerational programs and community involvement projects and partnering with individuals, organizations, schools and businesses to reach out and make a difference in the lives of the elderly. Gardens of Good Wishes has bloomed into and extraordinary gift for the residents. The students with the help of many community businesses have raised money, helped to build and create a waterfall, elevated wheelchair accessible flower and vegetable gardens with paths to a Gazebo. Please come and see the fruit of their labors and love for their adopted Grandparents.

To Celebrate Light Heart Foundation’s efforts of Helping to Unite Generations (Project H.U.G.) which is a service learning program that Light Heart developed to assist schools in providing students to become future leaders of our communities while at the same time alleviating the isolation and loneliness of our seniors living in facilities.
