Visiting 101™

Light Heart periodically offers opportunities to come together with others to learn how to become more comfortable with visiting those close to you who may be ill, disabled or hospitalized.

Beth Carrigan has had over 30 years experience with visiting and giving care to people who are dealing with health issues. During this time, she has developed techniques and tips on how to maintain a positive outlook and stay healthy and balanced while supporting those who are ill or need special attention.

A nurturing and pleasant environment is created for you to confidentially share your experiences and insights and to pick up ideas from others.

Topics Covered:

• How to prepare for the visit
• Things to say and do
• Finding humor and a light heart
• Appropriate gifts and goodies to bring
