– Holiday gift drive for the Elderly.
"What a remarkable and
blessed holiday season we witnessed in the past month. The unfolding
of community generosity was humbling.
The Secret Santa program
that you created this year for our Meals on Wheels recipients
was a tremendous success. The delivery of gifts and the provision
of financial” meal scholarships” was a deeply touching
event. This year, we were fortunate enough to have a volunteer,
dressed to the nines as Santa himself, donate an entire day
to the distribution of gifts for your participating seniors.
So in addition to the presents themselves, each elder was privileged
to a warm visit."

to supply Christmas gifts for all of our seniors. Our residents
were so thrilled with everything they received and were incredulous
that people in the community would do this for them. We heard

best Christmas I’ve ever had!"

"Residents at the Verde
View Senior Apartments appreciated so much the efforts from
so many individuals in the community for the gifts they received
for the holiday season. Weeks prior to our holiday party, we
gathered a wish list from each tenant, which ranged as you know
from philosophy books to T-shirts to clothes & toys for
the dog! So many were delighted to receive exactly what they
asked for!
When the Christmas gifts
were delivered, they filled almost half the community room here:
Santa had definitely arrived! One of our residents was Santa
and his elves included two of the volunteers involved in the
gift drive. The sight of the numerous gifts wrapped and decorated
in small, large and even some unusual packages had us all in
awe of the generosity of the community."
