Family Support

Goals
1. Promote Social Justice, economic development and security
and methods by which to connect children, seniors, and families
to the economic mainstream.
2. Seek to eliminate inequities based on income, race, ethnicity,
age, etc.
3. Help children, seniors and families obtain health care,
housing, income support, and other necessary services and supports.
4. Promote high quality, developmentally appropriate learning
experiences across the life span.
5. Help to expand, improve, and/or sustain in communities all
types of intergenerational family support programs that embody
the intergenerational family support principles.
6. Help to expand, improve, and/or sustain neighborhood-based
family resource centers in communities that embody the intergenerational
family support principles.
7. Promote the establishment of the intergenerational family
support principles in the delivery of education, health care,
community economic development, and other services for children,
seniors and families.
